Design and installation of a Turret™ floating suction intake system for a regional water treatment plant drawing from a surface dam. System included automated level tracking and debris screening.
The Challenge
Dam levels fluctuate by up to 8 metres seasonally, requiring a system that maintains optimal intake depth regardless of water level.
Our Solution
Wetpipe's proprietary Turret™ system automatically adjusts intake depth as water levels change, always drawing the cleanest water from below the surface while avoiding sediment near the dam floor.
The Outcome
Treatment plant reported 40% improvement in raw water quality consistency, significantly reducing chemical treatment costs.
